Pastor Aida T. Bond was born in Washington DC but raised in Greenville NC most of her life. She is the daughter of the late Bertha T. Taylor and the middle child of 5.  Pastor Bond graduated from JH Rose High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Shaw University; she also plans to finish getting her Master's in Christian Leadership. She received her religious studies from the Southern Assembly School of Christian Education. 

 

Pastor Bond accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior in her late teen years and never looked back.  She didn't want to become a product of her environment that left her broken, bruised, helpless and hopeless. When she got a hold of God, she never let go and he became her everything! Years later she accepted the ministry call upon her life and preached her initial sermon in 2004 and ordained as an Elder in 2005.   She's been a member of the Philippi Church of Christ in Greenville NC for 25 years and employed as the Administrative Assistant April 2000.  She received her ministerial training under the late Bishop Randy B. Royal who was her spiritual and surrogate father, mentor and boss. She served in several capacities at her home church; just to name a few she served as Director of Youth Services (overseeing 15+ youth programs and ministries), President of the Ministerial Association (overseeing the ministries and co-laborers of 40+ ministers), and facilitator of Teenage Leadership Training (training teens to be godly leaders in the church, home and community).  Now under the leadership of her current Pastor & Overseer, Dr. Dameion L. Royal, her ministry continues to grow and expand.  Pastor Bond became Pastor Elect of the St. Mark Church of Christ in New Bern NC January 21, 2018 and was officially installed April 15, 2018.  St. Mark is a small church but has a big heart while making a GREAT impact in the lives of God's people.  She gives all glory to God for all that he is doing and continues to do.

 

Pastor Bond is a humble Woman of God who is devoted to loving him, loving his people and the ministry he has assigned to her hands.  She is an anointed vessel of God who's been called, chosen and appointed to bring healing, deliverance and transformation in the lives of his people through his word.  God has blessed her to minister throughout the state of NC, Chicago, Ill and even in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In time of leisure she loves to spend time with family and close friends, play basketball, go to the movies, the beach, travel and enjoy the many facets of life.  She is married to the love of her life, Brother Avery Bond who is a local author of 3 books.  She is also a graphics designer, inspiring author and the owner of D4U Apparel Company located in Greenville and Rocky Mount NC.  She lives to bring God glory in every aspect of her life.
